Introductory and Taster Rally Experiences

Here you will find a brief description of what to expect on an introductory rally driving experience. If you want to list the rally days available, just use the link below:
These can conveniently be divided into taster days which are likely to cost around £100 and half-days at £150 - £250. They will usually last 2-4 hours.

Taster rally experiences

This usually involves high speed passenger rides in one or more rally cars of different powers to give a feel for what its like rallying and that can be enough for some people who have never been near a performance car before. So if you've got some urge to show your annoying cousing who brags about his shiny company car what rallying is all about, a rally taster experience could be ideal !

Half day of rally driving

When you get onto the half days, some are relaxed with with quite a few drivers sharing the cars and some are more intensive, with more one-to-one tuition. A typical introductory rally driving day will involve a safety briefing, followed by your rally instructor giving you a slowish drive around the rally stage to show you the corners.

You'll then take it in turns with the other participants to drive the rally car yourself while being taught basic techniques by the instructor. This will normally involve handbrake turns and opposite lock slides, as you blast your way around the track. You'll be surprised how fast you can go, even in just a half day rallying.

At the end you'll usually have a timed lap as your last drive, followed by a full speed passenger ride to leave you with a thrilling memory.
